HOW IT WORKS
MyFlare Alert™ is a digital flare gun to signal for help in an emergency.
Upon activation, every three minutes, MyFlare Alert™ calls 911 or your designated non-911 emergency contact, while simultaneously texting up to 5, and Emailing up to 5 of your pre-selected contacts with your customized distress message, your personal information, and your GPS location; while recording video of your present environment, and blasting a police siren. MyFlare Alert™ uses your smartphone’s video camera to record 20 second clips, every few minutes, which will be attached to the delivered Emails. These recordings could be considered crucial in an emergency by providing responders with all information necessary to quickly and effectively assist in your rescue. They also may be used as evidence to aid in a police investigation.
- Instantly calls 911 or the user’s designated non-911 emergency contact
- Every three minutes, automatically and continuously sends up to 5 MyFlare Distress Messages via SMS text and up to 5 Emails to the user’s pre-selected Contacts, which include the user’s current GPS location, alerting them that the user is in trouble.
- Simultaneously sends optional 20-second audio-video recordings, capturing the user’s present environment, which are attached to the delivered Emails (How often is determined by the user)
- Instantly blasts an optional police siren continuously, except when the phone is in use
